Make St David's Day a Bank Holiday

Almost every country on earth has a national holiday, why not Wales?

The Welsh Liberal Democrats are calling for
St. David’s Day to become a public holiday in
Wales and have introduced a bill to
Parliament to allow it to happen.
In Scotland and Ireland St Andrew’s Day and
St Patrick’s Day respectively are already
public holidays.
Everyone in Wales deserves the opportunity
to celebrate who we are and our unique
culture which unites us.

Mae bron pob gwlad ar y ddaear yn cael gwyliau cenedlaethol, pam ddim Cymru?

Mae'r Democratiaid Rhyddfrydol Cymreig yn
galw ar Ddydd Gŵyl Dewi i fod yn wyliau
cyhoeddus yng Nghymru ac maen nhw wedi
cyflwyno mesur i'r Senedd i ganiatáu i hynny
ddigwydd.
Yn yr Alban ac Iwerddon mae Dydd Sant
Andrew a Dydd Sant Padrig eisoes yn wyliau
cyhoeddus.
Mae pawb yng Nghymru yn haeddu'r cyfle i
ddathlu pwy ydyn ni a'n diwylliant unigryw
sy'n ein huno.
